Lita Miti-Qamata
Lita was admitted as attorney in 2010. She holds an LLB degree from University of Western Cape. Her areas of practice include brand enforcement and trade mark prosecution including, infringement, and opposition proceedings, domain name disputes, company and close corporation name objections, trade mark searches, filings, assignments. She also has experience in anti-counterfeiting.
Alissa Naran (née Nayanah)
Alissa Naran joined Adams & Adams in 2012. She is a qualified Trade Mark Practitioner who specialises in trade mark prosecution and enforcement in South Africa and foreign territories.

Philip Pla is a partner in the patent department in the firm’s Cape Town office.
Jenny Pienaar
Jenny is a partner in the Adams & Adams Trade mark Department. Her areas of practice include trade mark litigation, domain name registration and securing domains from unlawful proprietors, as well as litigation relating to copyright, passing-off, unlawful competition, company name objections and related issues.
Darren Olivier
An experienced intellectual property advisor with over 20 years experience gained in local and international law firms as well as in-house. Especially interested in IP management (primarily brands), prosecution, commercialisation and enforcement in Africa but worked for a decade in London, focusing on Europe.

Mandy Swanepoel
Mandy has extensive experience in trade mark, copyright and advertising litigation, having been in practice with Adams & Adams for over 10 years. Along with infringement, unlawful competition and passing off matters, she also handles domain name disputes and company name objection.
Amina Suliman
Amina is an admitted attorney, notary public and conveyancer as well as a qualified trade mark practitioner. She is a member of the Legal Practice Council and a fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law.

Nicole advises clients from a wide range of industries, including, for example, the automotive, construction, telecommunications, entertainment, and IT industries, in relation to the protection and enforcement of their brands and intellectual property rights in Africa.
