A qualified Trade Mark Practitioner, Fellow of the SA Institute of Intellectual Property Law and member of international organisations, including INTA and PTMG, she often attends the INTA Annual Meeting, INTA Administrators and PTMG conferences.
Bilkis specialises in all aspects of trade mark formalities and commercialisation throughout Africa and internationally.
Bilkis is also a co-author of The Practitioner’s Guide to Intellectual Property, published by Lexis Nexis.
She is a member of the Legal Practice Council. She has high profile international and local clients extending across various industries such as the pharmaceutical industry, fashion and luxury, consumer goods and the financial sector.
