Lisa van Zuydam specialises in litigation relating to trade mark, copyright, passing-off and unfair competition law, as well as domain and company name objections and advertising and regulatory issues in South Africa and across Africa. This includes in matters before the Trade Mark Offices, such as oppositions and cancellations, infringement proceedings before the Courts, and advertising disputes before the relevant advertising body.
Lisa represents clients, ranging from SMEs to large and very prominent multi-nationals, across a variety of sectors, including technology, FMCG, financial services, telecommunications, motor industry, and medical industry, in all phases of litigation, including to appeal stage, and with developing enforcement strategies, policing and trade mark and copyright related contracts and negotiations.
Outside of the office, Lisa is an avid equestrian.
