Children and Youth Welfare
The Jumping Kids Foundation
We are proud of our continuous partnership with The Jumping Kids Foundation.
Jumping Kids is a registered not-profit that provides access to lower limb prosthetic solutions to children living with amputations from previously disadvantaged backgrounds. Most young South Africans living with amputation are limited more by health policies and the high cost of prosthetic equipment than by their actual physical ability. Jumping Kids aim to provide affordable prosthetic solutions geared for optimum results while boosting awareness and advocating for change. The access to the equipment should translate into access to better education and sport. The foundation follows a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure the children’s long-term reintegration as valuable members of society.
Adams & Adams cover all the costs associated with providing quality prosthetic equipment, including its proper maintenance, for 5 children living with lower leg amputations in South Africa. We also take care of their full school fees and sporting needs, which in turn, provide access to the essential tools needed to succeed in life.

Rise Against Hunger
Adams & Adams participates in the Rise Against Hunger initiative as part of our Mandela day celebrations. Through this initiative our staff assist in packing essential meal parcels , which are then distributed to under-resourced communities.
Rise Against Hunger (RAH), a non-profit organisation, co-ordinates the distribution of food and other life-saving aid worldwide. The packs comprise of rice, soya, dehydrated vegetable mix and a fortification pack of 23 essential minerals and vitamins specifically formulated to combat malnutrition. Providing more than just nutritious food, the meals support children’s attendance at school, incentivise adults to learn a new trade, and strengthen the sick and elderly, to bring about positive change in each of their lives.
Strongly committed to being a socially responsible business, Adams & Adams is proud to partner in this initiative, which plays an important role in the fight against poverty and hunger in South Africa.
Phuthumani Primary school, Tembisa
In an effort to enhance child development and learning opportunities in the Tembisa community, Attacq Foundation has ‘adopted’ Phuthumani Primary School. According to the Attacq Foundation website, their philosophy is underpinned by the positive connection between education and social development, striving to make sure that youth are educated, equipped with the necessary skills and sufficiently prepared for employment.
Adams & Adams supports this initiative by assisting with various contributions to the school. Contributions range from providing schools shoes and winter uniforms to over 100 children as well as assisting with the infrastructure of the school building. Adams & Adams proudly sponsored the funds to install a new roof for the school
Norridge Park Primary School
In 2023, we worked with Arrow for Change, an outreach initiative established by Arrowhead Properties, to facilitate an upliftment project for Norridge Park Primary School in Eersterust in Pretoria East.
Many learners from the school are affected by societal challenges in the area, such as gangsterism, substance abuse, and single-parent and child headed households. The aim of the project was to transform the school into a safe and inspired place of learning for the children to feel empowered to one day make a difference in society.
Adams & Adams made a vital contribution towards upgrading the ablutions, servicing and repairing fire equipment, fixing classroom floorboards, repainting the jungle gym, planting trees, and other cleaning and maintenance at the school.
We are delighted that with our support, Norridge Park Primary is now a safe haven for children to feel nurtured and grow into their full potential.
Jacaranda FM , Good Morning Angels – SMILE foundation
Every child deserves to SMILE, which is why we were so pleased so assist with the Jacaranda FM “Good Morning Angels” initiative to raise funds for the SMILE foundation. The foundation is able to facilitate expert surgical intervention and pre and post-operative care for children living with facial paralysis, cleft lip and cleft palate, craniofacial abnormalities, as well as ear, nose and hand conditions and burn wounds.
Good morning Angels managed to raise funds for 80 surgeries and Adams & Adams was proud to assist with 2 of these surgeries.
