Ongoing strike action by the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG)

Information received from our hardworking local office in Ghana indicates that the ongoing strike by the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) has caused the Industrial Property Office (IPO) and the Registrar General’s Department (RGD) to close from 3 July 2024 until further notice. We understand that payment issues are the reason for the strike but, unfortunately, have no information which might indicate when these issues will be resolved. All deadlines will be extended until the strike comes to an end. We will also be unable to file trade mark applications during this time. Any changes to the current situation will be communicated in either a newsflash article or in the next newsletter.
