ARIPO: Adams & Adams Meets with ARIPO

Adams & Adams was welcomed by the Director General of ARIPO during a courtesy visit to the ARIPO offices, along with BMatanga Intellectual Property Attorneys.

ADAMS & ADAMS MEETS WITH ARIPO

Nicky Garnett, Menzi Maboyi and Jameel Hamid of Adams & Adams had the pleasure of being welcomed by the Director General Bemanya Twebaze of ARIPO during a courtesy visit to the ARIPO offices, along with Brenda Matanga of BMatanga Intellectual Property Attorneys, as part of the African associate representatives.

Various matters were discussed with a focus on strengthening strategic synergies necessary to sustain and promote intellectual property in Africa. The visit further included a tour of the Secretariat, which was led by Grey Njowola, the Acting Corporate Services Executive for ARIPO and Florah Mpanju, the Head of Search and Substantive Examination.

Adams & Adams and BMatanga Intellectual Property Attorneys were recognised by ARIPO as intellectual property agents who work closely with ARIPO in serving Member States and registering intellectual property across the region. The visit was deemed a success by all parties and further reiterates the strong working relationship Adams & Adams has with ARIPO.
