Visit to Namibia
In April 2025, Adams & Adams Partner, Simon Brown, Snr Trade Mark Administrator, Frank Mosekwa, and Africa Practice Manager, Menzi Maboyi, travelled to Windhoek to visit our Associate Office, and the Acting Business and Intellectual Property Agency (BIPA), CEO, Ms Ainna Vilengi Kaundu.
Our trip was in line with our commitment to engage with our local partners and IP administrators in the jurisdictions in which we operate to foster closer interaction and a better service to our clients.
Constructive engagements with the IP team at BIPA gave us a better understanding of the process followed in reviewing IP applications. We are appreciative of the good working relationship with BIPA and the ‘open door’ policy that they continue to extend to us.
We continue to support their plans to improve aspects of the service offering to their customers.
L-R: Menzi Maboyi, Frank Mosekwa, Acting BIPA CEO, Ms Ainna Vilengi Kaundu, Simon Brown, Nawala Kamati( Adams & Adams Namibia), BIPA ICT Executive, Ms Veneranda Shoombe, and BIPA Head of IP, Mr David Shatiwa.
