Michael is an associate in the Commercial, Property and Litigation department in Pretoria. He is a litigation attorney, practicing as such in Road Accident Fund claims, Medical Malpractice, Professional Negligence, Unlawful arrest and detention, as well as other Personal Injury Claims.

Nishi is a Partner in the Trade mark Department. She practices at the Durban office and is one of the Managing Partners. Nishi served for seven years on the firm’s Management Committee as Branch Office Chairperson.

Jani Cronjé is a partner in the firm’s Trade Mark Litigation department. She specialises in trade mark oppositions and cancellations, trade mark infringement and passing-off disputes, domain name complaints, ASA complaints and copyright infringement matters.

Gérard du Plessis is a senior partner of the firm and has served as the Chairman of Adams & Adams from 2013 to date. Prior to that he also served for a number of years as Trade Mark Department Co-Chairman(litigation).

Debbie Marriott is a Partner in the Trade Mark Litigation department, and is admitted as a Solicitor in the UK in addition to being a South African Attorney.

Lita was admitted as attorney in 2010. She holds an LLB degree from University of Western Cape. Her areas of practice include brand enforcement and trade mark prosecution including, infringement, and opposition proceedings, domain name disputes, company and close corporation name objections, trade mark searches, filings, assignments. She also has experience in anti-counterfeiting.

Dale Healy is a partner in the firm’s Trade Mark Litigation section. He was admitted as an attorney in 2005 and became a Fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property law in the same year.

Mohamed Jameel Hamid is a qualified attorney and trade mark practitioner specialising in litigation relating to trade marks, copyright, passing-off, unlawful competition, domain name disputes and company and business name objections.

Maureen is an admitted Attorney working in the Trade Mark department. She specialises in trade mark prosecution, brand enforcement as well as litigation which includes name objection, opposition infringement matters.

Somayya is a qualified attorney and trade mark practitioner who has worked in the legal field in the private and public sector in London, United Kingdom, prior to joining Adams & Adams in 2006.
