WIPR Influential women in IP
Adams & Adams is delighted to announce that it is the only law firm globally to have a lawyer recognised in all three categories of the World Intellectual Property Review (WIPR) Diversity 2021 publication.
Congratulations to the female partners, Mariëtte du Plessis ( listed as one of 60 Influential Women in IP) and Nishi Chetty (acknowledged as one of 20 Diversity Champions) as well as senior associate, Alissa Naran who is listed as one of 20 Trailblazers in IP.
World IP Review provides timely news and analysis on the most relevant and important issues affecting brand owners. Its global scope and readership ensure it is the best-read magazine in the IP sector. Three years ago, WIPR led the charge on gender equality in the sector with its Influential Women in IP publication.
Initially launched as WIPR Influential Women in IP to provide a positive focus on the development and progress of women, WIPR has expanded the publication this year to showcase professionals leading the way in the broader context of diversity. WIPR Diversity 2021 profiles 60influential women in IP globally who play a vital role in advancing equality in the IP industry, and 20 female trail blazers who are rising stars in the field. Additionally, a new category of Diversity Champions has been introduced. This recognises20 men and women in IP law who have been outstanding in their efforts to promote the diversity and inclusion agenda.
Research for WIPR Diversity 2021 was conducted via an extensive survey, in which respondents across the industry globally, were asked to identify the top IP law professionals working towards a more diverse industry.
